FOR AUSTRALIAN LANDSCAPING BUSINESSES
Websites for landscapers.
Let the work carry the page.
Good project photography should do more than decorate a landscaping website. It should help customers understand the kind of outdoor work you take on and whether their project fits.

WHAT THE PAGE NEEDS TO DO
For landscapers, the work should carry the page.
A strong landscaping site pairs original project photography with useful detail: what was designed or built, the kind of property, the area served and the work the business wants next.
- 01
Start with the right projects
Feature work that reflects the jobs you want, rather than treating every photo in the camera roll as equally useful.
- 02
Separate genuine services
Explain design, construction, maintenance or other work only when the business actually provides it.
- 03
Add context to the gallery
Project type, location where appropriate and a short scope make photos more useful to customers and search engines.
- 04
Ask enough to assess fit
Location, project type and timing can improve the first conversation without pretending to qualify every lead automatically.
A PRACTICAL STARTING STRUCTURE
A five-page landscaping website, mapped out.
The website should feel visual, but the structure still needs to explain what the business does and turn interest into a useful project enquiry.
- PAGE 1
Home
Type of landscaping, service area and the strongest relevant work.
- PAGE 2
Services
Only the design, construction or maintenance work genuinely offered.
- PAGE 3
Projects
Original photography with useful, approved project context.
- PAGE 4
About and process
How the business scopes, plans and delivers its work.
- PAGE 5
Request a quote
Location, project type, timing and helpful starting details.
THE ENQUIRY PATH
Ask for enough detail to judge the job.
A useful landscaping enquiry gives the business a starting point while keeping the form easy to complete. The exact questions should match the way you assess new work.
- Suburb or project location
- Type of outdoor work
- Timing or current project stage
- A short description and optional photos if required
YOUR FIRST HOMEPAGE DIRECTION
What we need to create a visual first direction.
The best starting point is a small set of representative projects and an honest explanation of the work behind them. We handle the page structure and draft copy.
- The landscaping work you want more of
- Original project photos you can publish
- Your service area and preferred project types
- How customers move from enquiry to site visit or quote

Straight answers.
Useful detail before you decide whether to ask for a homepage.
Do I need professional landscaping photography?
Strong original photography makes a major difference, but it does not have to come from a large commercial shoot. We can review what you have, choose the most useful images and identify gaps before launch.
Can the website separate design, construction and maintenance?
Yes, when those are services you genuinely offer. We organise them around how customers choose, rather than creating repetitive pages for every keyword variation.
Can customers upload project photos?
A simple enquiry form is included. Photo uploads, quoting tools or other custom workflows can be added when technically and commercially appropriate, but may need separate scoping.
Will you write the landscaping copy?
Yes. You supply the facts, project context and service details. We draft the words and send them back for approval.
Can I see the homepage before committing?
Yes. We prepare the first homepage direction so you can judge the design and message before deciding whether to proceed with the full website.
